Deleted Scenes, pt. 3

This was a Saturday, and we had dinner with our friend [a] at this restaurant called Ubl. It’s an old-style Viennese restaurant with traditional dark wood panelling on the walls. The above photo was taken around midnight when the place was already quiet and empty safe for the waiter and us.

On our way home, we passed the Karlskirche (St. Charles’ Church) which was brightly illuminated, when [m] suddenly stopped and said “Hand me the camera, please…”

Any other day, we would probably have turned that evening into a blog post, but earlier on that day we had been out walking in the Wienerwald and the night before we had joined the  “wiener umschlag“ in an evening of public knitting – so we already had enough to blog about for more than a week…

Vienna looks like a fairy tale town, it’s beautiful : It’s also delicious to cross these deleted scenes with your previous posts ; I remember how I have been amazed by this evening of public knitting, quite unimaginable in my country … Thanks for this sweet week !
